How we work

A structured process, from assessment to supported handover.

Engagements begin with an evidence-based assessment of the process as it actually runs — not a proposal written before the problem has been examined. Recommendations follow the findings, including, where appropriate, the recommendation not to automate.

  1. 01

    Initial consultation

A short call or written exchange to understand the process, the systems it touches, and what a good outcome looks like.

  2. 02

    Process assessment

A read-only examination of the real folders, data and systems, producing documented findings rather than assumptions.

  3. 03

    Written proposal

Scope, price, delivery date and explicit exclusions — or a reasoned recommendation not to proceed.

  4. 04

    Build & validation

Short delivery cycles with working output early, validated against your production data rather than demonstration data.

  5. 05

    Handover & support

Documentation, credential return, and systems that report their own health in operation. Ongoing support available under retainer.

The process assessment

Read-only access. Documented findings. No obligation to proceed.

You identify the process — a document folder, a reporting cycle, a pair of systems that should agree. Working with read-only access, we run the relevant checks — duplicates, misclassified documents, arithmetic breaks, drift between systems — and deliver a written report of the findings with a costed recommendation.

Where the evidence shows automation is not justified, the report says so. The assessment is a deliverable in its own right, whether or not a build follows.
