01Who we are

02Before you choose
Until you accept analytics, the only thing this site stores in your browser is your answer to the banner, once you give it. It is kept in local storage, not in a cookie. No analytics script loads.
03Analytics, only if you accept
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 loads and sets its own first-party cookies on thequietloop.com. It records the pages you view, roughly where you are, and the kind of device and browser you use. We use it to see which pages are read. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with anything you send through the form. Google processes this data, including on servers in the United States.
To withdraw, choose Cookie settings in the footer, then Decline. That deletes the analytics cookies, and no further analytics data is sent.
04The bot check on the form
The send page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from automated spam. The form cannot work without it, so it does not wait for your consent. It loads on that page only.
05What you send us
What you enter in the form (your name, email, company, the problem and any links) is sent to us by email through a mail provider, Resend, so we can reply. Links reach us as text and are never opened automatically. Your message is kept as correspondence.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising.
06Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted in the European Union behind Cloudflare. The server records standard request details (IP address, page requested, time and browser) to run the site and stop abuse. Server logs are deleted within 30 days.
07How long we keep enquiries
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: deleted within 12 months.
- Enquiries that become work: kept as business records with the rest of the job's correspondence, as the data handling page describes.
08Your choices
Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete what you sent us. It is done within 30 days, at no charge, and asking never affects how an enquiry is handled.
If you think your data has been mishandled, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
