Privacy policy

Last updated 15 August 2026

This site collects very little, so this is short. It describes what happens to information you give this website. Data handled during a paid engagement is governed by the agreement for that engagement, which is a separate document.

Who is responsible

Meridian Intelligence Pvt. Ltd., trading as The Quiet Loop, is the controller of personal data collected through this site. Contact:[email protected].

What is collected

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, optionally your company and timeline, the engagement type you select, and your message.

Standard server logs. The web server records IP address, requested URL, timestamp and user agent, as web servers do. These are used to operate the site, diagnose faults and rate-limit abuse.

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising pixels, and no third-party cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own. There is nothing here to consent to because there is nothing non-essential being set.

Why, and on what basis

  • To reply to your enquiry. That is the only reason the contact form exists. The basis is your request — you asked to be contacted.
  • To keep the site working and stop abuse. Server logs and rate limiting, on the basis of legitimate interest in running the service securely.

You are not subscribed to anything by contacting us. No marketing email, no newsletter, no mailing list. If a mailing list ever exists you will have to explicitly ask to join it, and every message will carry a working unsubscribe link honoured promptly.

Who else processes it

  • Cloudflare — the Turnstile anti-spam check on the contact form. It sees the request in order to distinguish people from bots.
  • Resend — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox as email.
  • The hosting provider — operates the server the site runs on.

Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for advertising. There is no advertising here.

Where it is stored

The site runs on a server located in the European Union. Contact-form submissions arrive as email and are stored in that mailbox. Some processors named above operate internationally and may process data outside your country under their own safeguards.

This section states where data actually is. If the hosting arrangement changes, this page changes with it.

How long it is kept

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work — deleted within 12 months.
  • Enquiries that become engagements — retained for the engagement and afterwards only as long as required for legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • Server logs — rotated and deleted within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or object to the processing of your personal data.

In practice, one email to[email protected] is enough. Tell us what you want and it will be done within 30 days, at no charge. You will not be asked to justify the request, and asking will never affect how an enquiry is handled.

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Credentials for third-party services are held as server-side environment variables and never committed to source control. Contact submissions are rate-limited per IP address and verified against an anti-spam check before being sent.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the substance of the change will be stated here rather than quietly edited in.
