Month-end takes about the same hours whether the month was clean or not, because nothing that needs a decision can be seen until the routine preparation is done: statements converted, invoices keyed, bank lines lined up for matching. We do that part, so your time starts on the items that need you.
One folder for the month
You send the month’s files however they arrive. We return one folder: each bank and card statement converted with its balances tied, supplier invoices extracted with each one checked against its own total, and bank lines prepared for matching with the unmatched ones listed. Each part has its own check sheet, so you can check any of them without redoing it.
Transfers kept apart from spending
A payment that settles a credit card looks, on the bank statement, like a payment to a supplier. Recorded alongside the card’s own transactions, it counts the same spending twice while the books still balance. We pair transfers between accounts and mark them, so they are visible before anything is coded. See transfers recorded as costs.
Starting with one client
The usual start is one client for one month, run alongside your existing process. Comparing the two is slower, and it is the only honest way to know our output agrees with yours before anything depends on it. After that, a steady monthly volume fits the monthly term on the pricing page.
What stays with you
Coding, accruals, adjustments, review and sign-off. If you also want the bank matching laid out line by line, that is reconciliation preparation, which can run as part of the month or on its own.
